Booking Terms & Conditions:-
Kilmore Cottage & Teach Eile/
Teach a
Trí
Acceptance and Confirmation of your Booking is subject to the following
conditions: -
Accommodation Capacity
The total number of guests is not to exceed six individuals to sleep
in beds provided in Kilmore Cottage, or five individuals in the case of
both Teach Eile
and
Teach a Trí
. In addition, each cottage can accommodate two infants under two years of age
to sleep in cots provided.
Arrival & Departure times
Arrival time is 4p.m. in all the cottages. Departure time is 11a.m. in
Kilmore Cottage and 10a.m. in both Teach Eile
and
Teach a Trí
. These times must be strictly
adhered to. In the event that you are unable to arrive or depart at the
specified times, please seek approval from the management, who will
endeavour to accommodate you.
Balance of Payment
The full balance of holiday cost is payable six weeks in advance of your arrival, and is
non refundable. It is strongly recommended that guests take out holiday
insurance upon booking to cover the possibility of cancellation charges.
Bed Linen and towels
Bed linen and towels are supplied free of charge.
Behaviour
We reserve the right to terminate this contract (and ultimately your
holiday), if the behaviour of any guest is likely to endanger the safety
or well being of himself / herself or others, or contravenes these terms &
conditions, or damages or is likely to damage the property of Kilmore
Cottage, Teach Eile or
Teach a Trí
.
Booking Deposit
The booking deposit of one third of the cost of your holiday is
non-refundable. It is strongly recommended that clients take out holiday
insurance upon booking to cover the possibility of cancellation charges.
No letter of confirmation can be dispatched to you until the booking
deposit has been received.
Complaints
In the unlikely event of a complaint, please notify
the management,
immediately.
Damage Deposit, Breakages & Cleaning
A refundable damage deposit of €100 per cottage must be paid on arrival. The deposit
will be refunded at the end of your stay, after your cottage has been
inspected, and the management is satisfied that the terms and conditions
of rental have been complied with. Final cleaning is included in the
rental charge, but failure to leave the cottage in a clean and tidy
condition, may result in the loss of the security deposit. In particular,
guests are expected to clean up spillages of any kind in any room as they
occur, and all kitchen dishes, pans and utensils must be thoroughly washed
when they are used. A full cleaning kit is provided, in addition to a
sweeping brush, mop & bucket, vacuum cleaner, and dishwasher.
Breakages must be paid for, and guests are expected to notify
the management about any
breakages.
Electricity and Heating
The electricity used by guests is paid for by means of a Euro coin meter,
(€2coin). These coins can be purchased from the management. The heating
and hot water is operated by an oil burner, and an extra charge for the
oil used by guests is payable prior to departure. The charge is based on
meter readings.
Late arrivals
Failure to notify the management of a late arrival may result in your
reservation being cancelled.
Liability
The management shall not be liable for any damage, loss or personal injury
that may be sustained by any of the guests during their reserved stay.
Pets
Pets, other than guide dogs, are not permitted in Kilmore Cottage,
Teach Eile or Teach a Trí.
Right to Decline
The management reserve the right to refuse, alter or cancel a booking,
even after receipt of the final payment. In addition, we shall be relieved
of all liability should Kilmore Cottage, Teach Eile or
Teach a Trí
not be available due
to circumstances beyond our control. In such an instance, we will attempt
to find alternative similar accommodation for the guest(s), or a full
refund will be offered.
However, no refund or liability will apply to a situation where a guest is
requested to vacate, or leaves of their own accord, prior to the
expiration of their booking.
Note: "The management" when referred to in the above Terms & Conditions
shall be taken to mean either John Cousins or Helen Cousins or a nominated
caretaker. A caretaker will be nominated only in the absence of both John
and Helen Cousins, in which event contact details for the caretaker will
be notified to guests.
