Although today is midsummer’s day, lots of people have yet to take their annual holidays. With that in mind, here’s a round-up of special events and festivals in Wexford this summer. The list below includes not only the well-known events but some lesser known, yet equally enjoyable, ones as well.

The harbour, the sea, narrow lanes, ancient ruins, church spires & River Slaney will all act as inspiration for the artists who will paint in “plein air” directly outside their chosen subject. There is an art competition with prizes of up to €4,000, there will also be a BBQ and a buffet supper. |
